JS Makeup Artistry Pre-Wedding Hair and Makeup Service Guidelines

Six to Three months before the wedding:

• At JS Makeup Artistry we recommend that you have your hair and makeup trial run at least 3 months before your wedding. We can decide a course of action for your hair (growing it, new cut, color etc.).  We can recommend skin care and treatments that will have your skin glowing in time for your wedding.  You will be able to relax knowing that you have chosen the right professionals for your bridal makeup and hair services.
• Begin conditioning treatments up until the wedding on damaged hair
• Begin facial treatments up until the wedding for all skin conditions.
• If you plan to tan begin tanning but remember to cover you face.  Tanning the face will make the skin dry, dull and wrinkled. We have a natural looking bronzer for the face that will match the body tan.

Two to three weeks before the wedding

• For long hair that needs a good cut do it now (trim layers or bangs the week before the wedding).
• Hair cut on short and mid-length hair
• Get last facial treatment

One week before the wedding:

• Have hair colored and highlighted
• Get bang trim

A few days before the wedding:

• Get brows waxed
• Have custom blend foundation color adjusted
• Get manicure or artificial nails
