Jacqueline Scott
Jacqueline has worked as a professional makeup artist since 1990. Her clean, fresh style reflects the Northern California Wine Country setting where Jacqueline is established as the preeminent artist for bridal makeup.

During her career, Jacqueline has worked on numerous fashion shows, photo shoots, television and music video productions, and her work is published in magazines and ad campaigns. In addition, Jacqueline teaches at her bridal and photography makeup school, The Makeup Art Academy as well as for modeling schools.

She is a graduate of The Academy of Cosmetic Arts, Award Studio Makeup School and Redwood Empire Beauty College. She has received certifications from renowned makeup artists Marvin Westmore, Pamela Taylor and Bob Scribner. She is certified by 3 different color analysis training programs and has product training with Aveda, Lancome, MAC, Color Me A Season, Jane Iredale, Sothys Paris, Glymed, Cosmedix, and Prescription Plus. more background...

Lauren Spaulding
Lauren has been a core member of the JS Makeup Artistry Team since 1999. She is both a talented makeup artist as well as an accomplished hair designer. Lauren specializes in intricate updos. She is proficient at creating a timeless look that photographs well and leaves the bride still looking like herself. Lauren has a calming influence on the wedding day. She has the experience to help even the most nervous bride.

Lauren attended the Santa Rosa Junior College studying art, followed by The Academy of Art in San Francisco majoring in Graphic Design. She has studied fashion photography and bridal makeup at the Makeup Art Academy by JS multiple times and keeps abreast on the most up to date looks as well as perfecting the classics. Lauren has been the hair artistry trainer for JS Makeup Artistry for 2 years.

Amber Owen
Although Amber Owen has been a Licensed Cosmetologist for 8 years, she has been a hair artist for over a decade. She spent a year in LA as a hair artist apprenticing as an artist in a top Salon that caters to the stars. When she moved back to Northern California she brought the skills that she learned with her and she is now a sought out hair up-do artist, especially for wine country weddings. Her clean style is both classic as well as adventurous. Bring a photograph of your desired style and she can duplicate it or give it her own twist.

Amber trained at the Vintage Academy of hair Dressing in Napa, California. She updates her training by taking classes annually in color theory, hair design, hair extensions, cutting techniques and makeup artistry. Amber trained under Jacqueline Scott at the Makeup Art Academy by JS last year and is looking forward to this season as a JS Artist.

Caelie Steele
Caelie Steele is a Licensed Esthetician & Professional Makeup Artist. She has been working full time in the industry since 1999. Caelie has practiced esthetics with Jacqueline Scott since 2004 in their Windsor location.

Caelie is an expert at eyebrow design. She is able to create the prefect brow for brides on or prior to their wedding day. Caelie stays abreast in the industry by attending classes and trade shows. Caelie is a graduate of JS Makeup Artistry in the Art of Bridal Makeup. She has been doing bridal & special event makeup for the since 1999.  Most recently Caelie was featured on the television show “A Wedding Story” representing JS Makeup Artistry.

Caelie has a Certificate in Advanced Medical Esthetics, from the Advanced Medical Aesthetics Institute. She is able to educate and give her clients the results they want with their skin.  Caelie attended California State University, Chico and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Health Science and an Option in Health Education.

Amanda Natov
Amanda Natov has been a makeup artist since 2000. Amanda has experience with all skin types and face shapes. She can create a clean and sophisticated look for the traditional bride as well as a unique and exotic look for the ostentatious bride. Precision is very important to Amanda and it is nothing less than essential that the bride looks and feels flawless on her special day. Makeup artistry is a true passion for Amanda. 

Although Amanda has been a hair artist since 2001, she has been exposed to hair design most of her life. Coming from a prestigious and elite family of hair stylists, hair design has always been second nature for her. Amanda’s creative and precise style is only complete when she has met the bride’s wishes. 

Katelyn Peterson
Katelyn Peterson is a professional in makeup and hair design. She grew up in the industry at her family-owned salon, Bella Nova in Windsor California.  Ketelyn trained under professional Up-do artist’s Martin Parsons and Kari Taylor. She also trained under M.A.C makeup artist Denise DeCrona. Most recently, she trained with Jacqueline Scott and received a certificate in Bridal Makeup Design. She specializes in a clean classic look but is able to create modern stylish looks as well.  She has done both hair and makeup for weddings, fashion shows and special events for several years.

Jessie Scarpelli
Jessica Scarpelli is an accomplished makeup artist and hairstylist, working in the industry for 8 years and with JS Makeup Artistry for the past 5 years. She is creative, imaginative and inventive and has a professional, friendly and caring demeanor. She has a supreme ability to visualize and advise the appropriate look for each individual.

Jessie is a graduate of Redwood Empire Beauty College, and interned with some of the top salons in Northern California. Other styling classes over the past several years include Biosilk styling, Goldwell styling, and Sexy Hair Concepts styling.

Jessie made the natural progression to makeup artistry after completing studies in art, portraiture and color theory, along with courses under the supervision of Jacqueline Scott for makeup application and artistry. She also attended classes with Dermalogica.

Some of her professional achievements include: "1st Place" stylist at a Holiday Fashion Show, the lead hairstylist for San Francisco State Runway Show and has worked with a photographer who later published work in Martha Stewart's Wedding Magazine. She modestly admits to 100% satisfaction for all bridal clients in over 100 weddings.

Allene Smith
Allene has lived in Sonoma County for over 18 years and is a mother of two boys. Allene has always had a passion and love for cosmetics and is thrilled to be working as a makeup artist with JS makeup artistry.

Allene has been in the retail and cosmetics industry for 11 years. It was during her years managing Victoria's Secret Beauty that Allene chose to pursue her dreams of becoming a full time makeup artist. Allene takes pride in creating a classic and timeless look for all her brides. She is also currently working toward her certification in massage therapy, and plans to expand her knowledge of skin care by training to become an esthetician.

Veronica Spaulding
Veronica Spaulding began working for JS Makeup Artistry last season. She has an innate ability with both hair and makeup and has the talent of our artists who have worked with JS for many years.   Veronica’s bridal makeup training and certification were earned through the The Makeup Art Academy by JS. Her career in the industry began in 2001 with training through Clinique and her love for makeup stems back to childhood. From chic and contemporary to over the top glamourous, Veronica can create a clean, breathtaking look that is right for you on your special day.
